I Don't Live in the Gym Anymore to Stay Lean...
and Neither Should You!
and Neither Should You!
I used to be a "Gym Rat" until I figured out how to stay looking 'lean and mean' without spending too much precious time in the gym.
So here is a quick mini-course on how to look lean and slim...aka the Hollywood Look...without living in the gym.
First let me show you a quick picture (Yes...I know the picture is kind of odd. I typically wear "board shorts", not the James Bond swimsuit).
I just wanted to show you a picture, so you can see I'm in decent shape.
This picture was taken a few years ago in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. I rented a beach villa for a week with 4 other friends. It was a blast!

It is easy to get lean if you workout 5-6 times per week
...But What if You Don't Have a lot of Spare Time?
The story behind this picture should convince you that it is possible to get lean quickly if you put your mind to it.
Note: I run a high traffic fitness website and I have never officially told the story behind this photo. I have the same picture up on my site, because I'm proud of the obstacles I had to overcome to get this lean.
Here is the story behind that, then we will get into how you can get lean if you are strapped for time!

Oh God! There Goes My Back Again...
A few years ago I was shooting hoops in a church parking lot, before my grandparent's 60th Wedding Anniversary.
I was trying to dunk a basketball with my cousin. Both of us are around 6'3", so it isn't a huge deal...except when you are in your late 30's the leaping ability slides a bit.
On my 4th attempt I kind of dunked the basketball, but also felt something terribly wrong in my back. Not Good!

So How Bad Was This Back Injury?
