But first let me tell you a quick story…

Even though the 80’s are long gone, the fitness industry still teaches men to try and get bigger muscles. Almost all training methods and eating strategies are aimed at gaining more muscle mass.

 

In the opinions of most women I’ve spoken with and surveys I’ve read…women find too much muscle mass a turnoff. Worse than that…I’ve heard many women refer to this body type as “cheesy looking”.

 

Okay…back to the story. So after 15 years of training I was a cheesy looking body builder type. When I put on a short sleeve shirt, I had muscles popping out all over the place. I didn’t have a “cool” or “hip” look, since it is near impossible to look “cool” if you have boofy looking bodybuilder muscles.  Yeah, I realize that “boofy” isn’t a real word…it just seems to capture that overly muscular look so well.
